Basement Technologies has used a variety of pumping units over the years. We have always believed a pump with heavy duty ball bearing construction and piggy backed plugs should be the choice for the customer conscious water proofing company. After extensive testing, we chose Bell & Gossett (ITT) as our primary pump.

Bell & Gosset (ITT) has been in business for over 80 years and is the premiere American made pump manufacturer in the country. They specialize in heavy duty industrial/commercial pumping units and have “downsized” some of this special technology especially for Basement Technologies. We have committed to Bell & Gossett (ITT) company our entire line of primary dewatering pumps because we are confident that our reputation is compatible with their's, and they are manufactured here in the United States. We carry three (3) primary pumps – 1/3, 1/2, and 3/4 horse power.

Stallion Eliminator

An accepted reality in basement waterproofing is that all reliable basement waterproofing systems are based on a pumping unit. Pumping units are run on electricity and are a mechanical device prone to possible failure. Basement Technologies recommends Battery Backup Units and secondary pumps on all pump locations. The Stallion Eliminator is designed to be the best Battery Backup Unit on the market. Storms, power outages and unforeseen mechanical failure are all unforeseen realities. We recommend every Basement Technologies customer plan for the unforeseen.

Separate float switch and built-in alarm automatically starts the backup system and activates a warning buzzer to protect against high water damage and warn of primary pump failure.

The Stallion Eliminator is designed to provide emergency backup service for the primary pump in the event of a power outage. The pump will also operate if the main pump can not keep up with the water inflow.

Poni Battery Backup

A sub floor basement waterproofing system linked to a sump pump is considered by industry experts to be the most reliable and cost effective solution to basement water problems.

Consider the consequences of a power outage and a mechanical failure at the pump, it is highly recommended that homeowners install backups to confront any emergency situation.

The Basement Technologies PONI™ battery operated backup sump pump is designed to back up primary residential sump pumps in case of pump or power failure. A must for those installations where an inoperative sump pump can not be tolerated. Separate float switch and built-in alarm automatically starts back-up system and activates warning buzzer to protect against high water damage and warn of primary pump failure.

Lawn Magnum

A problem which has been plaguing homeowners and waterproofing companies for years has now been solved. Water collecting on lawns of homes having water proofing systems with sump pumps is very common. The water which enters and then threatens the floor on the inside is drained through our Water Trek Aqua Route® conduit and is collected in our Water Grabber® Bull Dog™ Pump System. The water is then pumped from the basement out onto the lawn through our Bubbler Pot™. Once, expelled, this water creates another problem for the homeowner.

Until now, when flooding occurred on a lawn, waterproofing companies have only been able to reroute the water to another area of the lawn, which in turn, will flood. The Lawn Magnum™ will dispense this water in to the sub soil and keeps it under the ground and off of the lawn.

The revolutionary patented Lawn Magnum™delivers a real solution to most, if not all, flooded lawns. While other waterproofing companies and landscapers can only reroute the large volume of water to another surface area of the yard, Basement Technologies,with The Lawn Magnum™, can disperse large volumes of water into the subsoil under the lawn and keep most of it underground and off your lawn.

The Lawn Magnum™ is installed approximately 40'' below the lawn surface and covered up to the original lawn condition.

The Lawn Magnum™ will reduce the amount of water overflow to the surface of the lawn. The majority of the water is filtered underground and actually helps water the subsoil and roots under the lawn. The area surrounding The Lawn Magnum™ burial area actually grows better and looks greener.  The Lawn Magnum™, with similar installations since 1952, has a life expectancy of approximately 50 years. It is now available exclusively through your Basement Technologies dealer and should help considerably with lawn flooding. The Lawn Magnum™ is a patented design set up with a pressure fitting that forces water under the lawn. The discharged water is forced downward into the unit and dispersed into the subsoil, thus reducing the hassle and inconvenience of multiple discharge relocations throughout your lawn. For severe flooding, tandem units can be installed.

Bubbler Pot

 

Our unique Bubbler Pot™ with a drywell of stone underneath the Bubbler Pot™ is used to discharge the water from the Water Grabber® Bull Dog™ and the patented Water Trek Aqua Route® system - away from the home. Installed in the yard and flush with the grass on the lawn so you can mow right over it. It is colored green to match your lawn. An excellent solution to a tough problem and predicament. 

The water from the Water Grabber® Bull Dog™ and the patented Water Trek Aqua Route® system is discharged through the Freeze Stop™ then to the Bubbler Pot™ typically ten(10) to twenty(20) away from the home. The Bubbler Pot™ is installed in a drywell of stone underneath it. Some of the water, dependent upon soil conditions, may "bubble" up from the lid. An excellent solution to a tough problem and predicament.

 

Curtain Drain

 

Our patent pending solution to flooding surface water by the home. It is common for homes, at the base of hills or inclines, to have water pooling a the base of the house's foundation. These pools occur during heavy rain falls when eater has no where to go. It then penetrates into the basement by seeping under the siding and plywood and over the foundation. Basement Technologies' patent pending product, the "Curtain Drain™" is designed to eliminate water from entering the basement due to exterior pooling. The "Curtain Drain™" will take the threatening water which collected on the surface and route it to the side of the home away from the flooded area. Due to the extreme unpredictability of exterior environments. we cannot warranty exterior system.

Our Curtain DrainTM system is an economical and effective system for added peace of mind. In addition, we can install our Finish White panels to the inside basement walls which would allow water to flow behind them so that the water will be rerouted into a full perimeter system beneath the floor on the inside. We always recommend our patented, interior system, The Water Trek Aqua Route®, be installed in conjunction with the exterior Curtain DrainTM.

 

Alternator

 

The Alternator™ is another reason why Basement Technologies dominates the basement waterproofing industry. We designed this product with the homeowner's needs in mind … because our only business is your "dry basement".

Often the best laid plans go awry! The pump is able to pump 3,000 gallons of water an hour and mixing this flow with spring melting snow could cause a potential flood. The patented Alternator™ allows you to re-route the discharge point to a more appropriate area if necessary. Our patented Freeze Stop™ guarantees the pump will discharge in freezing conditions and usually this will be enough. However, our patented Alternator™ gives you the emergency option to direct the water to a different spot in the yard.

Gutter Tamer

 

Even with a basement waterproofing system installed, excess overflow water entering the basement will cause the system to overwork itself. Basement Technologies has always recommended that water from the roof be diverted away from the foundation. Downspout extensions are commonly used in conjunction with many of our cost effective basement waterproofing solutions.

The Gutter Tamer™ is specifically designed and engineered to prevent pine needles, leaves and other debris from getting caught in your gutters. The patent pending cross design of the slats allow the pine needles and leaves to slide over your gutter clear and free from debris.
